Hey all, I'm pretty new to the speed running community (first halo speed run I watched was the most recent AGDQ run). After that I decide to give it a shot in halo 3, and I'm getting better. My background in halo goes back to CE, however I'm mostly known for my forging abilities in halo 4, of which I have got two maps in MM. I'm looking forward to getting to know a few of you better as I slowly get more and more addicted to speed running, so send me a friend request if you want. GT: "SHIFTY time"
Hiya! Call me Nacho. I've watched speedruns plenty over the years, but I've only been running myself for a few weeks. AGDQ '14 and Monopoli were the last push I needed to get into it. Reach is the only game I run (for now...) - I figured I'd start with my favourite. Also I'm Australian, so yay for crap internet speeds. Eventually I should be able to stream, which should be fun, but don't hold your breath. Looking forward to racing alongside you guys!
Hi all, I'm Sol. I only recently realized that people were still speedrunning Halo games, so I figured I'd try out a few runs of CE. I was a fairly early member of High Impact Halo back in the day (only v1+2), and made a few minor tricking videos in 2004/2005, but wasn't terribly interested in speedrunning back then. I seem to be the only one here who lines up his shield bumps really oddly. ; ) Nice to see such dedication in the community.
Nice to meet you Sol, it's nice to see Halo trickers expanding their horizons. You cannot imagine my disappointment with the state of tricking right now. It's going strong in Halo 2 at least. Your shield bump method was peculiarly solid for me: http://youtu.be/cZqCHQJKMy4
Thanks Jax! :) Glad you were able to get those Zero Shot films recorded.

Hey guys! I'm some random guy who chats in goat's chat on occasion. Pretty much have lurked every single Halo forum in existence in the past 12 years. Only was ever really active on mlg forums though. Don't really speedrun myself too much but I really enjoy playing halo in general and love seeing it pushed to the limit. Also I really really love Halo 1 a lot.
Whats up? My name is Kyle aka StuffedCrustFTW and also various other aliases. Started picking up halo speedrunning around October of last year when Halo 3 became free. I picked up coop with fingerquick because we weren't super serious about running it at first. We got really into it and his xbox broke so here I am playing this game solo really badly. Im a tryhard at sierra and never practice any other levels.

Hey guys, I'm Reed, used to go by RedNovember or RCG Tiburon. Been watching Halo speedruns on and off since 2004 (Going Nowhere Fast), used to check HSH once every couple of months. I only started speedrunning after AGDQ 2013. Started with ODST because Dark told me to (fuck u dork), tried out other games before finding Monopoli's stream last summer. Since AGDQ14, I run Halo 2 and F-Zero GX,
I'm bad at speedrunning, I just do a lot of organizational work (made gdocs/wiki, lobby people on SDA, etc).

I am Danza or Dan, and I like Halo (Been lurking around since HIH). I have been speedrunning games for a few years for fun, but never recorded anything. Now I have a bit more free time I'll give it a shot! Originally I was a Call of Duty glitcher (Zombies, as seen on my channel) but I have moved on from that and want to return to my favourite game, Halo.
Other than games, I spend my time with friends, playing football (or soccer, i'm Welsh btw), rugby and programming.
Anyway, very nice site and a pleasure to meet all you guys!
Hey dudes, I'm Azure, I'm new to speedrunning in general but I've been playing Halo since it came out, so Running is coming quite naturally. My favorite Halo game has to be ODST but reach comes in a close second. I'm planning on learning/running 3/reach/4 runs once I get my ODST time where I want it. nice meeting everyone \(^w^)/
Hello. Whats good? I go by hidingtonight on twitch and i'm VERY new to speed running. first discovered speedruns on halo 3 was by watching norf on twitch. he was doing a legendary run and i thought that was pretty sweet. i started looking more into it and talked to a lot of the people in the community and it made me wanna try my first run after a lil practice and taking notes. my first pb ever is 1:55:21 on Halo 3 Easy which i just got about 30 minutes ago. hopefully i can improve and commit to getting better! if you ever watch my stream im either playing matchmaking h3 team snipes most of the time, or speed running. sometimes ill play random games too. hopefully i can get to know you guys better. PEACE!
Heya peeps, I've been a speedrunner for about 10 months now, I started with GBA and NES games mainly Kirby, Mega Man, and a few others.
I got into Halo when 3 came out and I've been in love with the series ever since. My favorite game in the series is Reach mainly because of its story.
For a long time I've been wanting to do Halo speedruns, and very recently I've decided to do it. My brother and I decided we want to run Halo Reach Co-Op, which we are currently learning/routing. Halo 3 ODST is what we will learn after we set a solid time.
I just started speedrnning yesterday, submitted my first run today 5.12 poa legendary :)
I used to make halo trickjump videos but I have started to enjoy watching speedruns in games I like since watching agdq and have been watching some of your guys streams and you are all really enjoyable to watch so good job!
here are my 2 youtube channels that are about halo but now I dont really have the time or motivation since halo 4 came out(awful awful game)
First of all, my name is Alex, I'm 23 and I love Halo. Second, you can call me backpack guy if you like, but the proper pronunciation is just by spelling it out. B-K-P-A-guy. :D
I love halo in all its forms. And there are so many. Competitive multiplayer, casual multiplayer, trick jumping, hiders, youtubers, streamers, custom games, forgers, glitchers, modders, etc. But the one that I love the most is speed running. Pushing the game to its absolute limits through tricks, skips, and skill is a thing of beauty to watch.
I occasionally still run Halo:Reach levels, but I spend most of my video gaming on Halo 4 playing the multiplayer.
My best speed running levels are Reach: Pillar of Autumn and Nightfall.
I have a full time job as a Mechanical Engineer so I don't get to play as often as I would like anymore, but send me a message on Xbox Live if you want to setup a run or just play some Halo. My gamertag is xx3strksuroutxx. I have H3, Reach, and H4.
Glad to see the Halo Speedrunning community is still alive!
I'm Benobot, and I only started speedrunning Halo 2 ILs a few weeks ago. I was inspired by Monopoli, so I started doing Outskirts and Uprising on Legendary. I'm great at them now, and I'm considering learning Regret. I sometimes stream on Twitch, and I got a 4:59 on Outskirts Legendary offline, lol (my time online is 5:11). Monopoli's AGDQ 2014 Halo 2 speedrun is what really pushed me to try speedrunning, and I'm glad I did. I first played Halo 2 back in '04, when I was 10 years old, and the online glitches were great. Off topic, I've hit 67 notes per second in Guitar Hero 3 PC.
I just recently became much more consistent with Sword-Flying, so that's good.
Hi all my name is Rockyall or Rock for short , I just started running halo ce after watching numerus speedruns and decided to give it a try. I run Halo ce on conceal (my computer is not good enough for running a full game like halo). My only problem is I can not record my runs:( but other than that ever since I started I have not looked back.
Heya, 2Tie here. Been into Halo since Marathon, and been into speedrunning for a few years now. Watching the Halo done Segmented made me interested in the Halo speedrunning community, and decided to get involved in speedrunning Halo games after watching Goatrope and RC Master. So uh, here I am. Hello.
(I'm also that one person who did the first Spartan Assault full game run :P )
Hello. My name is KJ both actually and on the internet. I've been playing Halo for 5 years and have always been interested in glitching, specifically single-player. I was very active in the HLG community in the H3 days. Duelies got me interested in doing runs, and I started lurking on Monopoli's streams recently. I expect to start doing runs soon. My connection isn't good enough to stream though.
Hey all, I'm new to speed running. One night I was watching calebhart42 speed run earthbound, and I thought well I'm pretty good at halo 3 so I'll try a run. Since that night I've watch hours of tapes of halo 3 runs and I am getting better. Currently looking for a capture card to put my runs up on YouTube.
I am Auraxade and I do Legendary runs in Reach and 3. I started running Halo in 2011 thanks to my love for the Halo single player campaign and have stuck with it since. I do stream occasionally, but it's more of a joke because I'm not entertaining in the slightest. You may see me around in various Halo streams, but I don't really chat unless prompted. I have a pretty hefty list of planned runs with less time than I would like to do them, but I make sure to do my best on the runs I complete.

Hey all, I know I'm late to this but better late than never right?! I'm Mcmeow but I like to be called by my name "eli". VERY VERY new to the halo speedrunning community. I used to be a halo2 tricker in Anakade's Death Weasel Tech (DWT)I love how friendly everyone has been to me. Any questions just ask
Hey everyone, I'm Vesticle/Tacorific82 and recently I've began to speedrun Halo 2. My first video game ever was Halo CE when I was 6 years old and I've loved Halo games ever since. I'm starting on Easy, mainly to learn the tricks without having it be as difficult as legendary. I'm starting to stream fairly regularly at twitch.tv/tacorific82 . I'm working on getting a decent mic but for now I don't have one. I'm sort of a perfectionist so I might be reverting a lot to master sections, which isn't as fun to watch if I don't have a mic. I'll start attempting full game runs after I have a basic understanding of the game. So excited to be part of this community! Cheers, Sam
Hello my name is Will or Wikidog. I have been watching Halo Speedruns for a while now. I prefer Combat Evolved as my speedrunning game that I am interested in and have started working on. The person that got me into speedrunning Halo was Goatrope himself. I watch his livestreams all of the time to try to pick up more tips and tricks. One trick including the Bridge Fall which I still have trouble with. Anyway's, I really would like it if you guys could give me some tips on speedrunning CE. I started just a few days ago and am excited to try to get a WR. If you could send me some tips, just message me on YouTube at www.youtube.com/user/wikidoghd. Thanks :D.
Hello Guys, I am Heroic Robb, I used to speed run Halo and Halo 2 back years ago. I held a few records back when High Speed Halo was up and running, and I am back because I am interested in speedrunning the Halo games again. I do have every Halo game except for Halo Wars, but I am working on a couple levels in Halo 1,2, and 4. I may not be the best trickster but I can fight through levels pretty well. I like the idea of a points system for each level and game, and plan to accumulate a lot of points and maybe make a new record or two. I also use a DVD recorder to record my runs and may I can learn how to upload them in the future. I look forward to having fun on Haloruns!
Hello there peeps, I'm Jimera0. Started watching Goatrope's streams recently thanks to a #RAYD, and now I want to give this stuff a try. I'm going to be running only Halo CE since I don't have a capture card to stream the later games, but that's fine by me since I love CE. I'm brand spanking new to not just Halo speedrunning but speedrunning in general. I've watched a bit of speedrunning but the most I've done before are a few partial runs of Pokemon Blue (which doesn't have much in common with running Halo) so expect me to be pretty terrible for a while. I do love streaming though, so I'm not going to be upset at an opportunity to do more of that :P. I've already talked with some of you guys and I'm excited to get this going with you guys!
Hi, I'm Rei and back then 2007, I used to speedrun 1 specific level of Halo 3 because I hate it so much and wanted to get it over with as fast as possible and it was the flood lvl where you are retrieving cortana. I found a youtube video of how to do it back then and that got me hooked into some speedrunning for a bit. After discovering SGDQ 2013, I got into speed running again and I was trying out Halo 3 ODST and recently just picked up Halo 4. I am short of equipment so no livestreams for now but if I can get an EL gato or Avermedia or something I'll spike up my activity, I have lots of improvement for ODST and 4 but joining this community will help me out a lot more.
Hey people I'm Jadon, or Jcold. I'm brand new to the Halo speed running community. I first got into Halo speed running by watching monopoli at AGDQ 2014. I then started watching goatrope and monopoli's stream. I chose Halo 3 because it is by far my favorite game of all time. If anyone could link me to some tutorial videos for a Halo 3 run I would be ever so grateful.
Hi, I'm Dragon, and a few of you have probably already seen me around quite a bit. I'm pretty new to the haloruns team/community, but I do easy CE full game runs right now. I'd like to help the R&D guys at some point when I manage to get more consistent with doing actual runs.
I started running CE because I have been obsessed with the game since childhood, and goat encouraged me to just go ahead and start running, so I did.
This community is awesome, and I hope to meet more of you guys (other than the guys I already know) in the future!
Hello everyone you can call me either adept or steak whichever you prefer. The sgdq halo run was the pushing point toget me into speedruning. Ive considered speedruning for a while and once halo came into play I am all in. I prefer halo 4, sadly its the halo im best at. Im very exited to get started find tricks and get those easy WR
